At Route 77 Ministries, we are dedicated to reaching singles — whether never married, divorced, or widowed — by empowering them to live fully and faithfully in their current season of life. Inspired by 1 Corinthians 7:7, we view life as a road with both single and married lanes, each leading to the ultimate destination of heaven.

Our mission is to provide support, encouragement, and resources to help singles embrace their unique paths, recognizing that their relationship status is not the destination but part of the journey towards a deeper relationship with God and the fulfillment of His purposes. Through fostering community, spiritual growth, and active engagement in faith, we aim to guide every single believer to live a purposeful and Christ-centered life.

I Pillar 01

Accepted

Singles are fully part of the body of Christ.

At Route 77 Ministries, we emphasize that single individuals are fully accepted and valued within the body of Christ. Singleness is not a temporary state of waiting to become a part of life; it is a significant and integral role within the Church. Our community celebrates the unique contributions of single people, recognizing their vital presence and participation in God's work.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 27 (NIV): "Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body... Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
Ephesians 2:19 (NIV): "Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household."

Anchored

Hope set on God, not on circumstance.

At Route 77 Ministries, our second pillar, "Anchored," emphasizes the vital importance of grounding ourselves in God and His promises rather than the transient things of this earth. Many people place their hopes and dreams on marriage and family, not realizing that these can become idols in their lives. While marriage and children are indeed blessings created by God, they are not the ultimate meaning and fulfillment of our lives. True meaning and fulfillment come from God alone. We believe that anchoring our lives to God provides the stability and perspective needed to navigate life's challenges and joys. This pillar encourages us to focus on our relationship with God as the primary source of our identity and purpose.

Hebrews 6:19 (NIV): "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain."

By doing so, we find true meaning and purpose in life, allowing us to focus less on our relationship status and more on our relationship with God. This pillar emphasizes that when we abide in Christ, we are nurtured, guided, and sustained by His presence. It encourages individuals to cultivate a daily, intimate relationship with Jesus, drawing strength and direction from Him. Abiding in Christ is the key to experiencing a fulfilled and purposeful life, regardless of our external circumstances.

Singles, in particular, can face challenges in this area and may find it beneficial to seek out fellow believers who can provide a shoulder to lean on, pray with, and help navigate life's struggles. Accountability helps prevent the pitfalls of autonomy and individualism, which can lead to isolation and spiritual stagnation. Singleness should be characterized by active faith, active life, active purpose, and active actions. Singles often think they are "waiting" for their spouse to show up before life can truly begin. However, it is crucial to embrace each stage of life fully and live it to the fullest, making the most of the opportunities and gifts God has given. Being active in faith means engaging in spiritual practices, growing in knowledge of God's Word, and serving others. Being active in life involves pursuing personal and professional goals, building meaningful relationships, and contributing to the community. By living actively, singles can find fulfillment and joy in their current season, trusting that God's timing and plans are perfect.
